National Homemade Soup Day - Celebrated every February 4th. Homemade soup is a perfect meal solution for a cold winter's day. I recently made this yummy Creamy Chicken Taco Soup. I think I'll give this Disneyland Loaded Baked Potato Soup a try next.
National Stuffed Mushrooms Day - Celebrated every February 4th. Just last Sunday I made these wonderful Stuffed Mushrooms, from The Pioneer Woman, for my family. I wish I had taken pictures so you would know I wasn't just joshin' ya. I made one little change to her recipe, I added 1/2 box of prepared Stovetop stuffing to mine. They were everything a stuffed mushroom should be. I couldn't get enough!
National Quacker Day - Celebrated every February 4th. There is a clothing manufacturer called the Quacker Factory which is showcased on the QVC. Apparently, there are over 3 million women in the United States alone, who belong to a group called the "Quackers". These women are Quacker Factory clothing wearers who, when they see each other, say "Quack, Quack" to one another.
Thank a Mailman Day - February 4th is set aside each year as a day to give your mail carrier a great big "Thank you". You could, I'm sure, thank them any day throughout the year and they'd appreciate it, any day that is, but Sunday. :0)
